Sometimes the choice is also not possible because the humidifier is already integrated in the humidor. This technique should only be adopted if your humidor is located vertically in the humidor. Indeed, if you place the cigars with the foot towards the humidor, it will tend to absorb the humidity and this will be a disaster when tasting.
When placed on the inside of the lid, the humidifier may alter the cigars placed underneath. To avoid any problem, the ideal is to place a cedar leaf present in the cigar box on the volutes placed under the humidifier.
